Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Natural Fluency: the website www.naturalfluency.ai, the app on the web, iOS and Android, and our WhatsApp and Telegram lines. Natural Fluency is run by the Natural Language Institute, CLN 214, Bloco C, Sala 206, Brasília, DF, 70873-530, Brazil ("Natural", "we"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

The service

Natural Fluency is a language-learning service. You have conversation classes with AI teachers, get corrections and lessons from them, and practice with flashcards and games. Our AI teachers are artificial intelligence, not people. Some AI avatars, like Victor and Jane in the app, are made from real members of the Natural team, with their consent. They are built on the Natural Method and usually get things right, but they can make mistakes, so don't rely on them for legal, medical or other professional advice.

Your account

You need an account to take classes. Give us accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you are under 18, use Natural Fluency with your parent's or guardian's permission.

Subscriptions and payment

  • Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, the App Store or Google Play, and renew automatically until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Purchases in the App Store or Google Play follow those stores' refund rules. For purchases made on our website, you can withdraw within 7 days of the purchase for a full refund, as Brazil's Consumer Protection Code provides.
  • If we change a price, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal.

Using Natural Fluency well

Please don't:

  • use the service to harass, threaten or harm anyone, including on our teachers' WhatsApp and Telegram lines;
  • try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the service, or access it with bots or scripts;
  • resell your account or share your login (on a family plan, each member has their own account).

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

Content

The method, the teachers, the lessons, the videos and the rest of Natural Fluency belong to Natural. You may use them for your own learning. What you say and write in your classes remains yours; you allow us to use it to run your classes and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability

We work to keep Natural Fluency available and improving, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we stop offering a paid plan you are using, we will refund the unused part.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Natural is not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under Brazilian law.

Ending your account

You can stop using Natural Fluency at any time. To delete your account, go to Profile > Delete account in the app, or write to contact@natural.education. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play; cancel it there too.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we make an important change, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes go to the courts of Brasília, DF, unless the law gives you the right to use the courts where you live.
