A method proven for over 23 years, now accessible to all
Natural Fluency was not built to be one more language app. The Natural Method has taken thousands of students to fluency in 23 years, and it is now open to anyone.
It came out of a search for personalized, immersive learning focused on the thing that matters: communication.
Our mission follows from that — boutique-quality language teaching at a price people can pay — and the method has grown into a complete path from your first word to advanced fluency.

One method, two schools
The Natural Method was born in 2003 at the Natural Language Institute, a school with classrooms, timetables and teachers you sit in front of. Over 23 years it took thousands of students to fluency there, one conversation at a time.
Natural Fluency, launched in 2023, is that same method in an app: the same emphasis on speaking from day one, the same corrections in the moment, the same insistence that you study your own mistakes rather than a generic syllabus.
So when you read “23 years” on this site, that is the method. The app is three years old and built on top of it.

Personalize your experience 100%
- Your first week is a set of missions that walks you through every part of the app.
- Choose your language, your level, your teacher and even your teacher's mood.
- Set how often you are corrected, and pick free conversation on up to 5 topics or a Targeted Practice.
- Turn on the support you need: subtitles, translations, speaking suggestions, speech speed.

Receive accurate, customized feedback
- During class, keep the corrections you want to study and set the rest aside.
- After the conversation, write a few sentences: even a short paragraph moves you forward.
- Read your lesson: teacher feedback, your corrected writing, and what to read, watch and listen to next.
Consolidate your knowledge
- Review your corrections and train all four skills with the content suggested for you.
- Memorize vocabulary with flashcards that refill themselves from your own classes.
- Drill grammar, pronunciation, writing and vocabulary in six review games.

The language app you have always wished for
Unlimited conversation
Talk as long and as often as you like, in any of the 13 languages. No minutes, no credits, no slot to book.
Corrections that become lessons
Every correction you keep comes back as a lesson, a flashcard and a review game built from what you actually said.
A method, not just an app
A school, a track record and thousands of fluent students stand behind what the app asks you to do.
For every level and goal
BeginnerStart speaking from day one
Conversation is not only for advanced speakers. Your teacher speaks slowly and keeps the words simple, subtitles and translations are there while you need them, and a ready-made list of the most common words gets you started before your first class.
IntermediatePractice without limits
Turn the translations off and the subtitles down, and let your ear do the work. Build your own material from class feedback, and rehearse the situations you are actually heading into — a restaurant, a meeting, a phone call.
AdvancedTake on specialized conversation
Follow your teacher at natural speed and go wherever your work goes: classic literature, aerospace engineering, a proficiency exam, a corporate presentation. Thirteen languages means even a polyglot finds something new.
