Word Dash is a game you play by talking. You get a word, a timer and a short list of words you're not allowed to say, and you describe the word out loud before time runs out.
How a turn works
- Tap the card, and the timer and the microphone start.
- Describe the word without saying it or any of the forbidden words.
- The game scores how guessable your description was, your language and your speed, and your host teacher comments on it.
A run has five cards. You can also switch roles: your teacher describes, and you guess.
Four levels
At Beginner you get 45 seconds and 3 forbidden words. At Advanced you get 15 seconds and 5. The levels in between sit in the middle. You can play with the general decks (fun, travel, food and more) or with words from your own lessons.
