Until now, changing anything in the middle of a class meant stopping, opening the settings and tapping the screen. Since Friday, you just tell the teacher, in your own words, in the language of the class. They understand the request, confirm it with a short sentence and carry on from where they were.
What you can ask for out loud
- Subtitles on or off.
- Translation on or off.
- Speech speed: slower, faster or back to normal.
- Repeat the last sentence, including more slowly.
- Level: go up, go down or jump to a specific level.
- The teacher's mood and formality: more formal or more casual.
- Correction frequency: more, less or none.
- Vocab Mastery on or off, and correction audio on or off.
- Repeat or delete the last correction.
- Open Targeted Practice: the teacher opens the list of exercises and you choose.
- Search the web: ask the teacher to look something up and they answer with current information, up to ten times per class.
- End the class. If the class already had enough conversation, the final count appears and the lesson is generated as usual.
There is no right phrase. Say it your way. Simple requests, like subtitles and speed, take effect at once. When a request changes the content, like switching level, the teacher redoes the reply before continuing. A request in the middle of a long sentence may land on the next turn; the teacher confirms when it applies.

Why it matters
The class is a conversation, and now the controls are too. Talk to the teacher as you would to a person, and the class adjusts to you without leaving the flow.
