What Polish asks of you
Polish spelling looks dense — sz, cz, ś, ć, rz — but it is consistent, and it stops being frightening once someone says it with you. The time goes into seven cases and into verbs that come in pairs, one for the finished action and one for the ongoing one. You learn both by using them and keeping the corrections.
